Shayne Lynn, CEO/Director of Agricultural Management


Mr. Lynn founded the non-profit Champlain Valley Dispensary (CVD), Inc. in 2011. He assembled a community network of local government representatives and business leaders to help position and finance CVD. The State of Vermont awarded its first medical marijuana license to CVD in 2012. He designed, sourced and managed the construction of CVD’s cultivation facility. Mr. Lynn has provided recommendations and public testimony to state regulators in Vermont for the past four years. He now serves as both the executive director and the director of cultivation for CVD.

On November 1st, 2013 Mr. Lynn was awarded a second license, the fourth and final dispensary license from the State of Vermont. He opened Southern Vermont Wellness, Inc. in Brattleboro, Vermont February 2014. Currently CVD & SVW serve over 800 patients in Vermont, employing 15 full-time and 5 part-time employees. Mr. Lynn manages all aspects of the operations vertically integrated business, including cultivation, laboratory testing, infused products production, retail sales and community programs.

In addition Mr. Lynn helped draft Central Avenue Compassionate Care, Inc. successful bid to secure a Massachusetts dispensary license in the town of Ayers in 2014. Mr. Lynn helped design the cultivation operations along with being a member of CACCI board of directors.

Lastly, Mr. Lynn has been recently hired as an expert witness for the cultivation of cannabis for the Committee for Public Counsel Services in Northampton, MA.
